Hi...
its a painting using gouache and water colours all done by hand...the old fashioned way...lol.
Funny you should mention the big A...thats what drew me to this truck...lol.

That's realy nice, I agree with Slodder, as your other pictures this is very pleasing to the eye. Your paintings realy seem to catch the 'feel' of their era. Must be something with the colors (or maybe rose tinted glasses, 'we never locked 't frontdoor' etc..)
If I may make a suggestion for a future one, 'old timers' look always good with some 'roping and sheeting' on the back. You don't see much of it today, not to mention the quality of it.... .
Can't wait to see the next one.

Hi Henk....
I've thought about it too. I didn't do it for the Atki' as it was a first try.
I have a British Road Services Leyland Hippo 4 axle job in the wings and it'll have some sheet and rope.
I've just completed a Bedford QL and it was good practice as it has the canvas back and I've added a bit of rope hung off the front end.
