Are the decals on a model or haven't they been used yet?

i have the same problem too

i have 2 DML kits (jagdtiger and Jagdpanther) and both of them have yellow decals in the box. Well the kits were issued in 1994, so i guess the decals will 'age' alittle...

i guess there isnt any 'remedy' to solve this problem...

You can try and "bleach" them back to being white by placing the decal sheet in a clear zip lock type baggy and taping it to a window in your house that gets alot of direct sunshine.. The sun should bleach out the yellow and restore it to white. It will take a few days so be patient. This method does work most of the time. Good luck .
Cheers,
Bryan

Nope...need the UV light from the sun...it should work even with it not being sunny...just might take longer.

the edges of the german 'cross' are yellowed, so by 'bleaching' the decals, wont the black colour part of the cross be whitened too?

Paint your markings... no problem with yellowing carriers.

Stencilit carries a wide range of masks.

Nope never had a problem.

Its the carrier that is over the decal thats causing them to turn yellow...not the decal itself.
