are you guys talking about the boston red sox sports team?

what sport do they play?

forgive me for the seemingly dumb questions but ive only ever heard of them because of the dropkick murphys! hehe

Ola Joe

this should answer your question:
Boston red Sox Official homepage

As for the Dropkick Murphies comment same goes for me plus that some dutch papers (the free ones you get at the trainstations here) report every time about the battle between the Yankees and the Red Sox.

I don't follow baseball much but I am really glad the Red Sox won. The comeback was amazing...

Yee haw! Ding dong, the witch is dead, or rather the Yankees. The one firm rule I have about baseball is I root for the home team, and whoever plays the Yankees. All that money spent only to see them blow a three game lead. What a shame. NOT.

Still, now what the Red Sox fans have to say from now on? No more curse, they'll be just another team like all the others.

One more series to win, before we can say 'no more curse'

But still that was sweet anyways!!!... Yankees buy the best team every year... and to see them loose two in a row :-)

ahhhh at least we can go to bed early tonight!!!

TUNA,
The Yankees lost FOUR in a row. They had the Sox down 3 nil...

39 to 5 ALC and 26 to 1 WSC.... It's a fluke of nature :-) but a hearty congrats out to you in Sox Nation.

The curse isn't really about beating the Yankees. It is about Red Sox winnig World Series. Spanking Yankees was an awesome treat, no question, but the real test is still ahead.

I don't give a rats behind about basebaLL, BUT EVEN i WATCHED THE GAME LAST nIGHT CHEERING FOR Boston. Just to end the curse I'ld love to see them win the series. Then next year for the Cubs. Just the underdog thing gets my attention like the Jets in 69
