Thanks to Roo for pointing me in the right refs direction.

Its just like modelling...the more you do the better it will, hopefully, get.....lol.

Hi Davy...
if you can find good colour pics...I'll give it a try.

Old buses....
One thing that always struck me was when you had been away on business or holiday in the old days, when you first saw a local bus it made you feel you had indeed got home....gone all misty eyed again...lol.

Cheers
Peter

Another gem Peter.

I know what you mean about the nostalgia feeling. A few years ago in Bradford they had a bus museum specially built and I went for a visit. I couldn't believe it when I saw they had the old trolley busses with the overhead lines running. I had a ride on one and it suddenly felt like I was back in my childhood.
Unfortunately the place closed down rather quickly due to lack of visitors.

You're septic Martin (dislexia intended)...lol.
The next painting underway is a trolley bus.
Will post when done.

And thanks Davy.
The Daimler looks more in keeping with the age of busses I'm doing.
I'll give it a go...and its blue too.
When you say squarer...do you mean similar to the first two paintings? Do you know what make?
There was quite a few manufacturers during the 30's to 60's...Leyland, Guy, AEC, Daimler, Bristol to name but a few.
Also what would have been in the destination window and the number?

And BUS...any Brazilian bus pics lying around?

Cheers
Peter

Although the more modern bus is not what I'm doing in series, I'll give it a go.

I'm also due to take a step in the direction of a military truck. I've found a lovely ref pic of a 1950's British Road Services Leyland Hippo.
If it turns out, I will then tackle an Army AEC Matador or Beddie QL.

Cheers
