AWWWW...i am soo sorry for you. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. When we lose a pet, it is not just a pet..but one of the family. I'll remember you in my thoughts.

You have my deepest sympathy.......I went through the same thing a few months back and it broke my heart. Even now I sometimes get home from work half expecting the big daft bugger to be there waiting for me.

Very sorry to hear about that. I've got a 16 year old Golden Retriever, Copper, that is like the son I never had. I know he doesn't have much time left. I have a sinking feeling this will be his last Christmas he will be with us. I dread the day when I get the phone call from the wife that he's gone, or that we have to put him down.

I have one piece of advice for you. Go get another one. When we got Copper we had just lost a Golden puppy. When he was killed in a car accident I swore I wouldn't get another dog. My wife just about dragged me to the animal shelter, and we found Copper. He's been a blessing to us the last 8 years.

Its so sad when they go Martin.
Still if he was in pain at least he's not suffering now.

Best wishes and sympathies..

my heart goes out to you mate,

i cant bear to think about my dog passing away so i cant imagine how bad you feel.

i agree with the others, get another as soon as you feel ready, not as a replacement, but as a companion

best wishes

I would be lost without my little girl ( Molly ), I know how bad you feel.

You have my deepest sympathy .

It's not just a pet but part of the family. I know when my daughter lost her first pet I never seen her so SAD holding it in her little hands. But it HELPED alot when we went and got here another one at pet smart.

Maybe a new puppy would help.

But I also know you need time to grieve, my prayers are with you.

I always put Happy Modeling here but it wouldn't be happy

I've been through this a couple of times, and although it might sound cold, the best thing for you is to find another companion as soon as possible, without forgetting the one you lost of course. It really does help.
