Hi...
for once not when modelling but when doing my other hobby...painting], I slipped with the old Swann and Morten and cut my finger. boo-hoo

Rushed off to the hozzie and had 5 stitches on my left hand first finger.
The funny thing was that to get me to the hospital, Emily did a huge bandage and as I had to drive and keep the finger in the up position to help stop the excessive bleeding it must have been quite an eyefull for other motorists with a side window full of huge white finger...

So I'm off the modelling game for a week or two...lol.

Don't fret I'm ok and don't send flowers or chocs or grapes....just yet
But I can still manage the computer so you haven't got rid of me totally...lol.

Cheers
Peter

Wow Peter, a cut hand whilst painting, those paintbrushes must be really sharp.
I hope your wounds heal soon and you can get back to cutting your fingers properly, whilst cutting plastic.
You were lucky that when you were giving the finger to the other motorists one of them didn't take offence and go into "road rage" lol

Peter- you cut your finger...painting.
You really ARE more talented than most people I know!
BTW finger painting is a medium, but the FINGER is NOT supposed to BE the medium!

Funny you should mention that Rob...lol.
Actually I had done a water colour of a Wigan Corporation double decker bus and was cutting it off the stretching board...the scalpel first dug into the wood then made a berserk stab at my poor little pinkie.
A neighbour came in and saw the drying blood on my bus pic and said "its the same colour, but its a bit of an exteme way to get the correct one"....I'm not into doing paintings in blood but at least a DNA test would prove it was mine...
Oh yes...Martin...you are right...cutting fingers when doing plastic is much more satisfying...at least it can be washed off...the blood that is.

So I have to paint the bus again...I'll use gouache next time and Emily can cut it off the board...lol.

Cheers
Peter

Oh and thanks for the advise Mary...
Nursing is a full-time occupation.

I'm sure Emily won't let me do anything stupid...at least not when she's looking that is...lol.

Cheers
