Just got my order in from Model Easy. My order was complete, I thought the pricing pretty good and they offered a nice range of items. Good people to order from.

Do you mean Hobby Easy? If you did indeed mean Model Easy, do you have a link for us?

I have also ordered from them, with no hassles at all. And you cant beat the Prices on barrels, Photo etch and Hobby fan stuff. Shipping takes awhile for me but none the less very satisfied. One note the Only reason shipping takes so long is because I live in Okinawa on a militaty base so my mail has to come all the way from Hong Kong to San Fran, then to Okinawa. So it is so close yet so far away. LOL

I've ordered from them 3 times and each time I get the order within 7 days at the most, and that is great for me here in Egypt. The thing to do is to save up and buy a few models so that when you divide the shipping cost, it comes out real low per model. Even Italeri models are cheaper from them than buying them from the States(for me), even after I figure in the shipping cost. I'm glad I found them cause I have to rely 100% on mail order stores. Two thumbs up. and two beers down

HI

I have been really tempted to order from them but I find their shipping costs offset any potential savings :-( I like the idea of group buying but I live in a small town so I am kinda euchered.

Still, good to know that they are reliable :-) Maybe one day !

Thanks for the info.

They base shipping costs on the weight of your order. not set fees. I ordered 4 tank barrels from them and paid something in the vicinity of $2 for ship + hand. Stuff got here quickly too. Considering I saved an average of $2 a barrel and got them all in one place I was more than pleased.

I just read this thread and I got a little curious.
I went to their site, looked around and priced some things.
I just bought dragonŽs 3ŽnŽ1 sd.kfz251, and 2 sets Dragon figures. These, including shipping, worked out about $2 cheaper than the 3ŽnŽ1 alone, costs here in sweden. Not bad eh?
The sd.kfz251 costs 151sek with hobby easy and 380sek in sweden. Believe it or not the figure sets were only 38sek each. All dragon sets cost 110 - 120sek here. Think IŽll be shopping more from here, if all goes well.

hi all..
i've buying from hobby easy a couple of time. Like many people have just said, they're good! it takes 1 day to process then 5 days to arrived in malaysia. and the price is very cheap compare to that of in malaysia. those Hobby Fans figures cost almost 40-60% up in malaysia.

btw, to change the currency, pls select from the top left hand side...there's a pulldown menu ........

Im gonna order from these guys soon, as soon as i get some money, but im bloody confused with the variety of shipping types, Surface...Surface Reg. express, air, small packets, etc... whats the cheapest, that would be surface right? but which is the quickest?
How long would it take for surface to reach AUS from Hong Kong??? if someone could answer these it'd help me alot!
cheers

Hey David. I choose small packets air and I get the package bet. 5 and 7 days all the way here in Egypt. If it is a small package under 1.4 kilogrmas it's a small packet. Over that weight it is parcel, but they are both air mail. Don't try the surface. I tried it once from luckymodel.com which is also in Hong Kong and I got the package after 3 months. They have a drop down menu in the upper right hand corner of the home page which has all the answers to your questions.

Hey Silantra.. Salam to you too my friend. Yes, the currency menu is on the left. But if you look all the way on the top and to the right you'll find the other menu which has info on shipping and all that sutff. Another good thing about them is that they are willing to get items which are not listed on their site. I wanted some Tamiya paints (which they don't carry regulary), so I just gave them the item no. for the paints I wanted and they got them from their Tamiya supplier. So they really are very helpful. I just hope they stay that way after their business has grown (They only started a few months ago).
