This is my other hobby. This is a 28 pound Chinnook salmon I cought last year from a local small Oregon stream. Now there back, so I am going to go after them this monday. I cant wait! battling one of these brutes in a small stream is the ultimate in exitment!
They average about 20 pounds and can go up to 70pounds. My largest so far was a 48 pounder.

When you tire of playing with those little ones, you need to go up to Alaska and lay into a 90-pounder on the Kenai!

I really miss big fish -- here in Kansas, the best I can hope for is to hook a big flathead or blue cat.

Bob these are all I want to handle on light tackle and a small stream! And yes, it is a blast. Hey if your ever in Oregon after the middle of september thru the first of november, look me up. I'll let the fish ware your arms out!
