The second picture is very good, looks almost like the real thing!. From a photography point of view, the first one has the focus wrong, and looks odd. If you want to replicate an old, faded photo you should take a good, sharp picture and then alter it on your computer to look old. Also, old B/W pic's tend to turn sepia over time, try that aswel. The second pic has also could the grainy look quite right.
Apart from that the Elephant looks very good, how about some (SHARP ) color pics?? :-)

Those are great - I recognised the diorama right off the bat...
Those BW shots really bring a new life to the photos. The backgrounds being blury really give a sence of depth.

Well done.

Yes, depth, but reduces the effect of a photo of the prototype. Standing that far back from the real vehicle to get it all in would require focussing farther out from the camera, making the background sharper. To get a more realistic effect of a photo of the real thing, stop the camera down to the smallest aperture and shoot from a low angle, as in the second picture.

Looks great. I agree with Henk about the sepia though. And it's easily done on the pc.

A bit like this?
Great looking pics and work...

I converted to CMYK, added a tint of yellow and red in variations, and added noise, adjusted brightness and contrast. Then converted to RGB.

Hope it helps.
Cheers
Peter
