Joe Szczygiel (mother) has supplied a step-by-step guide, complete with a diagram, to explain how to create scale hose fittings easily and quickly.

What are hose fittings?

Hose fittings are the connecting pipes/hoses/tubes/cables that air-supply, power, fuel, data, etc. is transfered to a moving part or to control something. In the picture below the hose fittings can be seen on my Scud launcher, that supply hydraulic air and missile ignition control to the launching arm of the launcher.

Hi, Great article here. I've been wondering how to make these items. I'm going to have to find some of this plastic hex rod and give it a try. Hopefully it will work some on the parts I want to try to 'plumb' on the Trumpeter T-34s.

Thanks and take care, Sgirty
