Ok guys,

For those of you who went to MAstercon, the fun is over. I missed this years event, but then, there is the upcoing AMPS East

So I am curious as to whom here on Armorama will be coming over, down or up to AMPS East. I for one just booked the flight, car and hotel (hey, these where sheaper than last year) and was curious to see if there is anyone else going.

I hope to go, this will be my first contest and I just want to get to know how everything's done. I have two projects I plan to enter for the theme: Chechniya but don't know if I have enough time left.

I've taken a vacation day just to drive up for the day, PvtParts and myself live about an hour south of it, and are planing to ride up together. Hopefully we'll get to meet yous guys. We will be easy to spot, PvtParts will be wearing his Armorama TEE Shirt, and I'll be wearing my usual old rags.

Dave I agreed to drive ya..but do you have to dress me to? Dave and I will both be there. I'll be in my Armorama t-shirt and Dave will probably wear the usual rags.

Hopefully, I can get the 250 Nue done, but first I gotta stop working on the AFV Club 251/9 late, which I am having lots of fun working on, but have NO hope of finishing. It's not my finest work ever, but it is a nice little kit. We'll see how it does.

The BMD-1P is also not going to make it.. @#$%@#%#% microscopic indie track links..

Well I do not have one of these Armorama Tees and lets not talk about me being skinny by the time of the show. It won't happen.

But as an identifier, I will have on my WW2ModelMaker Badge

And perhpas I will wear one of the scooter tees for easy identification


But look for me somewear about the vendor tables (sniff, sniff, sniff) and be sure to say "hello" and perhaps a chance for a beer (or two).

I really wish I could make it but I already promised to go the the Show in Halifax on the 1st of October and since I work weekends , I had to make a choice...Maybe next year.. Have a great time guys ..Hey Dave ...leave some stuff for the others to buy at the vendors stands. :-)

I'm planning to make the trip down with my friend John. This is a good show and interesting in that it uses open judging, rather thanthe usual 1-2-3. I'll probably be wearing a Wings & Wheels jersey with this logo on the chest.

I wish I could go, BUT I'm going white water rafting and then paintballing with scouts! :-)
