Hi everyone! i'm new here i joined yesterday ,i just posted something similar elsewhere (sorry my mistake) i tried several sites on the net very similar to this one , but they seemed well err....hostile almost ,
with some of thier replies!
just looking at the general chatter on here i can see this site is much friendlier ,and its nice to have somewhere we can gather in hobby and share experiences and ideas etc... i dont have a club where i am in the u.k. (except one) but they dont seem to interested in new commers? i asked a while back and didnt get a response ,and then someone told me privatley "not interested we are full" ? stumped me ?
so suffice to say a very big HI

to all on armorama.com
and i look forward to getting stuck in to some very involving future projects and shaing them all with you
best regards all ! ...K...

Hello Kenaz!
Welcome to Armorama mate! You have came to the right place. You just cant find a more friendly and helpful bunch of modelers to share this great hobby with. So the only club around tells you they are full and dont need you!

Yes, I would say that is rood! and uncalled for. I think I can say that here at armorama , all of us can say the more the marrier!

Once again welcome aboard , hope to be talking modeling soon!

yeah its sadto say i have had rude responses from many sites ,i dont know why some modellers are so full of them selves every one had to start somewhere
i think the more we share in our hobby the richer it will become .

WOW! thanks so much again everybody
i really feel welcomed here!
thats really inspired me to share my work now knowing that its wanted
i've even had "other sites" and people on them ask "why do i show my work?"or " i'm too new ! " to jump right in along side others work!
so i jacked it in and came here!
i can see this site is all fully to overflowing with REAL modellers who like me enjoy the hobby for the satisfaction it gives them! and no one else !
o.k. i'll stop whinging now! :-)
well thanks again guys ! and thanks for the advice ; i did join a campaign ! and i'm enjoying it!

Welcome Kenaz
I agree, other sites do have some useful info but never do you get responses and the community feeling that you get here at Armorama. I am sure some fellows here can point you in the direction of a local club.
Cheers

eyup kenaz,
welcome to the site,
where in lincs are you? im in mansfield, you know it?
the only modelling clubs i know of are IPMS nottingham and one mal (holdfast) mentioned in doncaster, both might be quite a long way for you.
the best thing about this site is the friendship and community we all have, you need never worry about asking a question!
regards
joe
