I think it is time I got a wife. I've got an ever growing pile of clothes that need ironing and my back garden could do with digging over.

nah, too much hassle,

i would suggest you buy an iron and a shovel, far easier, less expensive, and have you ever heard a nagging shovel? :-)

cheers

Martin you are a brave bugger , knowing some of the lady modelers on this board! Better run for the hills, that or stand your ground and be flogged by a rolling pin! Give this man a citation for bravory under high heels!

My Missus takes my daughter out for the day, every second saturday, so I have the day to spray or do whatever. Of course I do the same on the alternative saturdays. I take out our 3 year old daughter so the wife has peace and quiet ... to tidy the house :-) :-) .I usually give her a cultural roundofStockholm´s hobbyshops.
Shes just glad she has peace to clean without Kayleigh pulling out everything as she puts it away.
I live in a second floor apartment so thankfully she doesnt have to dig anything either!
As far as ironing goes ... I have never ironed in my life. Metallica t-shirts and denim jeans, dont mind!
Life is good!

Would I be right in assuming there's a chance your better half might read your post Jim?

Anyway, I know for a fact that women enjoy doing ironing and housework..........ask any bloke.

Good Luck in your search.......
Just be sure you find the right one.
I got an ex-wife and several ex-girl-friends available. One was an excellent cook, and one loved gardening. But have never run into any that enjoyed ironing. Perhaps a hired housekeeper would server your needs more, it was easier and cheaper for myself to simply hire doemestic help. They don't argue, you can fire them, and you don't need to pay alimony.

I'm sure all the lady members will realise this whole thread is meant as a bit of fun, and anyway women get lots of perks in life.

I believe they are even allowed to vote and drive cars these days?

I'm just wondering how many more hours it wil be before this thread is removed.

I needed a wife becase my life sized William Shatner doll wasn't giving me the attention that I require.

I'm glad I have this one because she is nice to me although she did retch a little after I shaved my goatee off. The full impact of my repulsive visage made her grateful for her poor vision.

Don't listen to him. The Shatner doll was doing just fine...

Now...as to the issue of ironing and gardening...

Might I suggest a hot brick for the ironing and a small herd of goats for the back yard? This way, you need not encumber yourself with such a burden as trying to seem like you know what you are doing in front of your superiors. (That's all women in case you didn't notice. )

Oh dear, there seems to be a hint of SEXISM creeping into this thread. I do hope it doesn't degenerate into an unwaranted attack on us men.

I personally would be extremely happy to get married again if I met the right woman.
But I'm much too busy building models and inciting roits here at Armorama........ to bother going looking for the right one.
I place unreal expectations on kit manufactures and women. The shortcoming of a kit I can correct with a little plastic card. The shortcomings of a wife requires much more money for plastic surgery.

SLAP>>>>SLAP>>>>> OH BOY DAVE THAT IS REALLY A SHALLOW SEXIST STATEMENT.......... SLAP SLAP...........

But at least I don't have a desire to run around in a Tron suit........ ROF

Not much scares me, I've been married twice

But making the evil comment regarding wives and ironing and digging the garden......my God, Man!?! are you insane? If they hear you, they CAN AND WILL find you. And hurt you. Bad.

Careful what you say!

99.9% of my clothes are wash and wear (in the summer time I don't wear pants to work or play, yes, I am a professional #:-) ) and the machinery that I have for doing the 'garden' is bigger than my wife is so I do it.

Been lovin' mine for just over 25 years and I wouldn't trade her in for William Shatner or anyone else for that matter.
