Hello,
I admit that the idea is not from me, I found it on this site : http://rock.heavy.jp/mokeioyaji/gallery-b.htm#ger but I liked it so much that I had to try this. Making the front side of a model box with a picture of your own model. I think I'm going to do this for every kit I've made. Let me know what you think of it

Nice idea... but certainly a GREAT job on the unit... fenders and wheels look perfect!

Hi bep,

What a great idea! Great job on the Sd. Kfz 10!

What software did you use to do the picture? What techniques did you use? Please give us some more info about this. Sorry, I had a look on the referenced website, but my Japanese is non-existent.

Ola,
Thanx for the comments. It's actually very easy. I use Microsoft Photodraw, but any other program (Photoshop etc) will do. The text can be put easily into the picture. The japanese text is actualy the english text which was translated via an online program ( worldlingo ).
Just experiment and have fun.
I used some little funny things. Like the numbers under the barcode: B022003 means that I started to work on this model in feb 2003. E062003 means that I ended it in june 2003 and K5003 is the kitnumber from esci.
Kit n° 35001 means that this was my first kit made in scale 1/35.
I also designed the "b" logo for my "model co" :-)
So guys, start designing and show some of your work.

Agreed. This would indeed be a perfect box top of the kit. Great job Bep. Two nit-picks IMO are; The wire rope on the front bumper really looks like a plastic piece though, as it has no sag. The vehicle has a nice matt finish, and this makes the sheen on the figure more noticable.
I have photoshop programme at home, but after a week playing with it, I gave up.Out of my league!
