Who, besides me, is watching this always-fun event (and possibly the only NHL-like play we'll see this season)?

Wouldn't miss it for anything in the world. Big hockey fan. The only bad thing is that I can't view the trans-atlantic games...

Well, I could see the games if I wanted to. But when the face off is at 1AM, it's kinda to late (or early). But if Sweden goes through to the final rounds I will try to watch them.
EDIT: PS: Don't ask me what I'm doing up now...

I am watching. We just won our first game over our American brothers 2-1. Going to be a tough go. Lots of excitement and emotion.

I see Swedes got their butts handed to them today by the underdog Chech team. Quite a surprise I must say.

Don't matter anyway, Gretzky and the rest of Team Canada are going to win it all anyway!!!!
But I would imagine it will be a US/Canada final.

My enthusiasm for this event is tempered by the impending lockout. One of the most interesting speculations I liked when they had Roenick in the booth was that the NHL should go 4 on 4 all the time. Never happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing it.
It is really fun to watch the best players play each other. The passing is so much better than the crap I have to watch locally, the Hurricanes...
Don't even get me started on that.
Stephen

Yeah
We made the finals tonight! Don't know if we deserved the win. The Czechs were the better team but determination and Heart saved us. Hope we play better against the Finns. Canada Rocks tonight!

Tonight's game was great! I feel sorry for the Chechs but I am glad Canada won the game. I would like to see them win it all.

Yeah we did it. The triple crown I suppose: World Cup, Olympic Gold and World Championship. Finns Played a hell of a game. I sat on the edge of my lazy boy whole game. Cheers to the Finns.
Now if only I could get my league team to win our championship I could die a happy man.

Congratulations to Canada!
Now, hopefully, we'll have a short lockout and we'll have pucks on the ice before November!
