Wow, that's quite a list you've composed there Al. Are you planning on attending all the aforementioned shows? I think I should be able to make it to Patcon, Granitecon and Baycon. Anything else would be an extra bonus for me.

Cape Cod is primarily a car show and the day after AMPS East, so I'll probably skip that one.
If you have (or throw together an OOB model) you should try to make it to our event at the Air Museum. Not that far from you, in fact the closest event to you, and for a dollar entry fee for the model you get to spend the day at the museum. It's also a relatively low key event with club members setting up displays, working on current projects and just socializiong among themselves and with the public.

I'll be at Patcon since my IPMS club runs that show. I've sponsored a trophy pack in Armorama's name for the show. I even have my brand new Armorama moss green (looks OD to me) golf shirt to wear to the show.
I'll make Baycon and hopefully Granitecon since that one's only about 30 miles away.
Al, do you think my Tamiya SAS Jeep will qualify as an OOB build if I used stretched sprue and styrene strip as directed by the assembly instructions?

The operative words for me would be as directed by the assembly instructions. Make sure you include the directions with it. Go for it. Worst case is it has to compete as non-oob.
