Shonen-red, I'd love to go to Manila but I'm quite busy here in Cebu. I'd like to join that modeling convention but i live too far.

Oh don't worry. I'll post pics that surely will give you a feel like you're also present in the convention

That would be great, shonen_red. Show me those pics okay?

By the way, how can I post pics in the armorama site. I have my pics stored in my Geocities webhost.

Warthog, I forgot my other technique. I also "dust" the model to dull out the shine if I don't have flat base available. I put a light brown (almost tan) color into my airbrush. I usually get this by mixing Tamiya Olive Drab (approximately 20%) and White (approximately 40%).

Then I spray it in light misty coats around a foot away from the figure. The fine particles will give your figure a dusty effect while toning down the shine without the need of a flat base. Don't overdo it though.

Copy the url of the pic (if your using Internet Explorer, right click on the image > select properties > copy the URL)

Try using this code {url} your url here {/url}

*just replace "{" with "["

Make sure you set the folder accessible to the public.

Hi Angela,

Nice tip no..in fact very good tip on how to reduce shine for oils...

I know what you mean about the frosting...I get lots of those hu hu hu....The latest was just a few minutes ago. Anyway it was good I was able to remove it....Yes you are right about the size of the flat base...a very small amount will do...if I could add..a little mix of Buff will also help.

Regarding those pics...Shonen already gave you the procedure. What I could give you is another site where you could store your pics and its free (3MB).

http://groups.msn.com/armorama/

It actually does not matter if the size of your pic is 700k coz, the hosts usually resize them.

You could also go here if you are that keen on resizing your pics and other things...

Hope this helps...
