Ugh, I have to go to school tomorrow. So long reference books, hello textbooks! Today is my last free day, I'm going to live it to the fullest! Say, is anybody else going back to school? I'm going to be a junior in high school. Thanks for your time.

Oh...... what I wouldn't give to be your age again.......
good luck in the new school year, study hard, and enjoy your young life, while you are young enough to enjoy it.

Isn't it a bit early to go back to school? I mean, didn't school usually start around September 1st?

My kids went back last Tuesday (8/10)

Here in NC they are considering legislation to push the date closer to labor day.

September 2 is D-Day for me. Starting back down at the bottom of the food chain as a college freshman striving for a mech eng degree.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

well, i have to say i love seeing other's go back to school before me! iam only starting the 31st..but on tuesdays and thursdays, think of me! and what iam doing!

il be awake at 5am working til 5. and what am i going to be doing? sweaping the floor with a broom at my dads work for minimum wage! might not sound hard, but 12 hours of brooming is harder than all you guys might think it is! so all who laught! i chalenge you to give it a try (good luck mates!)

so when you'l be thinking of that, remmber it's going to be worth the years of high school to get an easier job that pays more!!!!!

iam going in grade 10, so ive been in school for a long time also, and i know it isnt always easy, but take it as a hobby, like models, dotn take it as an obligation and have fun while your at it

good luck with the schooling mate (dont drink at school )

Wow. The wife and is going back to work Tuesday. She runs the kitchen at the local high school. The stepson goes back to school tomorrow. Me, I have been working 6 days a week since about 1998. Enjoy the summers off while you still have 'em. Good luck everyone in the coming school year. Study hard and get gravy jobs when you get out of school.
That's what I did :-) :-) :-)

Good Lord everyone heads back early. I begin my senior year in college on September 8, which is coming up WAY too soon. Oh well, a few short months and I can put this awful experience behind me (not to frighten the new students, most love college, I just hate mine).

Hey, I'm a junior too, luckyly I have a week or two left - I hate my present school in NYS so much I never bothered to look up when the first day of school is. On the other hand my high school in Delaware was great, this is where I'm going to college in 2 years. Never move to New York State unless it's New York City

Justin, you think your day is bad, think about being up at 6 a.m. to go to school, then be there till 3 p.m., drive home, have enough time to eat a light supper (read granola bar and a can of Pepsi), then work until 11 p.m. And thats Monday through Friday.

I work at UPS loading trailers (the big ones, not the cute little brown ones). Not exactly the cake walk I had hoped for.

I am going to be a senior in high school, and we dont have to start school until after labor day.

I really don't care when we get done either, seeing as it is my last year.

Not only does school seem to start early (I believe the 23rd around here) but the activities begin even before that.

Varsity soccer games started Aug. 10 and football was already last night.. So now life is super busy and those lazy 20-30 hour work weeks of summer turned into 56 hours this past week. Probably about the same for the next. Oh well, at least it can be entertaining.
