Well, finished up here at the IPMS Nationals today. Man was there a lot of stuff here. I don't know the actual number of entries but man was there a ton! You name it, it was here too. Anything from Nascar Diorama's to dinosaur models.

As with other IPMS shows, the bulk of the entries were aircraft and many of them were very, very nice. There was quite a bit of armor and seeing some of the work put into them has given me the 'itch' to go out and get another piece of armor to toy with and be humbled by. I'm truly amazed at some of the talent and painstaking attention detail that the modelers have.

The vendor area was massive to say the least and if you couldn't find it there, you probably weren't going to find it anywhere else. There was even an ejection seat (not sure from what kind of plane) for sale that somebody bought (I wonder if his wife knows).

It sure was nice to see Jim again and to run into Ron (pipesmoker) at the show.

For those of you who weren't able to attend, you won't be dissappointed with the photo's that Jim took. He took about 600 pics which he'll have to wade through before he gets them up here on the site.

I just finished processing the images. From 440mb to 21mb. Ahh...the magic of Photoshop.

I will be creating the albums tonight and adding some background info later.

I am going to write a news story and give the full tale then.
