I recently painted the bomb bay and landing gear parts for my AM B-25B with model master aluminum, but then decided nonbuffing aluminum metalizer would look more realistic. As the instructions for metalizer state that it should be applied over bare plastic, I followed Testor's directions for stripping the aluminum paint by using enamel thinner. Now, some of the parts have a white haze on them. Is there any way to remove this white haze from the plastic?

Best way to remove paint off of a model is to spray it with Easy-Off oven cleaner and let it sit for about an hour. Then you can basically just wash the model to get the paint off. You could try it to see if it removes this white haze you mentioned.

Thanks, Marty. I'll give that a try. I would have used the Easy Off method, but the Testor's Model Master Technical Guide said to remove metallics with enamel thinner.
