Dear Modelers,

Looks like our local (Overland Park, Kansas) IPMS Chapter will be host to the 2006 National IPMS Show. Any tips, ideas, warnings, etc. are welcome. We had a Regional this year that went well.
I understand the Phoenix National this year had over 2000 entries and an armor piece beat out the flyboys!
Come and visit us and see what good bar-b-que really tastes like. I hope to have my 11 year project done by then.

Where are you guys in Overland Park ?

Just curious because I moved to OP last fall and I haven't met a modeler yet. I did exchange a couple of emails with Bob Kerr but that has been about it. (work on call a lot so bad timing kept me from hooking up with the Amps guys).

I wouldn't mind socializing with some fellow modelers.

I have't made it down to a meeting in quite a while -- think I'll try hard to make it to the Aug. 26 meeting. I'm sure there will be lots of news from the Nats.
