Robert, this is a stunner! It will grace any dio. Lovely work... and a joy to watch it the whole way through too.
Still no pictures of the wheels?? Lovely base also. I would rust up the tracks and clamps a bit more, leaving only the top where contact is made with wheels shiny!
What are you planning to show along with this? Or will that be a surprise? What did you use for the tracks?

Stunning, Robert, It has been an absolute joy following your build. It turned out great! I can only imagine what the dio will look like. If the base is only half as good as the engine , you will have a winner for sure. Looking forward to reading your article also. Bravo and three cheers

Wonderful job! I fantastic scratch build! It is amazing the level of detail. Did you have plans to work with or just photos? I do have one question. Where is the fuel stored? No tender for the coal? I was just wondering.

Thank you so much for the kind words...The tracks (from Dragon) are not finished..Plastic Battle- the pictures of the wheels are in the Gallery. I have several flatcars, boxcars, draisines (kommandowagen and artilleriewagen), a couple of Railwaymen from CMK also. I have a million ideas for the diorama, so it will be a surprise for all (including me!!)
Thank you again

Think how much fun you could have if you could put a motor in it and make a model railroad layout. WOWEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a blast. Makes me want to go out and dig up some of my Fleischman trains and buy a bunch of those ROCO goodies . Wait, I have all that stuff....UH-OH.............................
