I've heard that if you brush and rinse with a good Scotch it helps. It may not remove the glue but after a while you don't care. :-)

I'd recommend a single malt, may not be enough in a blended to cut it. Glenfiddich comes to mind.

Attention Bleeders,
You can get silicone, triangular-shaped do-dads at office supply stores that fit over your X-acto knives and no more rolling. See, Mom, I still have my ...
Is your work area well lit? That helps. I use full spectrum fluorescents that are 93% color accurate for general lighting (and lots of it) and swing-arm lights for task work, also with full-spectrum bulbs.
I wear a cheap canvas apron not just to protect my clothes, but to protect what is under them.
I have a fan running continuously in my playroom to keep fumes from anything I'm doing from further deteriorating my mind.
I can turn on my paint booth exhaust for extra safety during chemical time, not just when painting.
I realized my health was worth at least what a good kit cost and replaced the cheap exhaust fan on my home-made paint booth with a larger cfm unit.
That's why I still have one good eye, one good ear, a brain that works sometimes and according to my doctor, when I bend over and cough, there is something for him to grab that hurts.
What about your workbench height? Too high? Too low? Sloped? Are your knees higher than your waist when you sit? It really makes a difference. Why do you think there are foot rails in bars? So, patrons are more comfortable and stay longer.
Sometimes I even select the CD's I play based on whether I'm doing crazy detail work (longhair stuff), montonous repetitive work (Beatles, Beach Boys, etc.) or MAKING RUBBLE (go Rolling Stones).
And yes, at work I do many of the same things; lighting with full-spectrum instead of that ghastly sterile, cool-white stuff, keep a fan going, knees higher than waist, etc. Just don't come and visit and ask me to bend over and cough.
