To all brothers and sisters in small-scale arms,
Hi there -- my name's Andrew, an advertising guy from the Philippines. Been modelling for more than 25 years, since I saw my dad's Revell 1:720 Enterprise (CVN-65). Started off on Matchbox 1:72 planes, but when I got my hands on a Tamiya 1:35 Tiger 1 and Machinegun troops I got hooked on treads and dios. Got a lot of plastic stashed away, but it's only now that I'm coming of age in this hobby of ours. I'll post some pics once I get some shots done.
This is a great site!

Thanks for the willkommen, guys! I plan to show some of my in progress stuff (a lot of my plastic's unpainted coz I'm waiting for the mood to break out the ol' airbrush). I just haven't gotten hold of a good camera yet...
To all my Philipino brethren, I'll be sure to visit the Phorum. Passed by it once, pero dehins ako nagtagal. Had to do something less important -- work (hee hee).
Anyway, there's an Italeri Panther A, unbuilt in the box, beside my desk (yeah, yeah, I know. Kit #270's been shot at many times -- well, it's cheap, and it's mine). I call it my stress-relief system, helps to attack something other than my co workers or my clients.
Be seeing ya!

Welcome aboard Andrew! We're all glad you joined up.
Is there any particular genre you like to model? WWII, modern? Allied, Axis? All?
Looking forward to seeing those pics.

Welcome to the Big A, Andrew! I think you'll find the most helpful & informative modellers on the net visit here often. You've already been greeted by some of the 'Heavy Hitters' (NOT me), so stop by often & pick their brains!

Hey all,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I believe it's gonna be real fun here. I've got an M51 Isherman (Academy) on hold (waiting for paint), basically OOB with some small details thrown in, no PE, no AM, just bits and pieces from the parts box. An Italeri Panther A is sitting next to my desk here in the office -- from time to time I take out a zimmerit panel and I sand away (nobody minds). In my desk drawer is a Dragon kit of Iwo Jima Marines. At home a trio of 120mm germans are waiting to have their photos taken so I can share with the nice people on the best modelling site around...soon.
