I picked up the Tamiya's M2A2 ODS, M1025 Humvee, and the T-55A. The store I was at had the Tamiya M1A2, the Polar Lights NX-01 and the Academy 1/32 F/A-18 Hornet, but I ran out of funding. These are on my list for the next sale.

I just got back from Hobby Lobby, my 2nd trip this week. All I can say is WOW. I was just there on Saturday, to check out what they had. Well they got another shipment. Tamiya T55, M1A2, Marder IIIM, German assault troops, Humvee Weapons carrier, Humvee Tow, M113 Desert, all of these just since Saturday. Also several new planes, like the 1/48 ME 262, a couple of helicopters, lots of stuff. They even marked down tow Dragon Wagons to $53 from $70. Too bad they usually won't take half off an already discounted kit. I was really impressed. I only picked up the M1A2 but I could have dropped another $100 there without blinking, if I had that much of course. There model shelves were jammed to the top, and this isn't the largest of the three stores. Very impressive.

For those of you who are waiting for another shipment of models to come in before the sale is over there wont be one. The trucks do not come in until Mondays and occasionally on wensdays, only if its something important.

However, I am still unsure if this only applies to employee's but ask about a "rain check" for models this week. Basically know what kit it is, how much it is, and how many you want and you can buy something within 90 days and still have the 1/2 off price tag. But you have to do it before the sale is over with to keep the 1/2 off tag.

On trip #2 I grabbed the Tamiya Ferrari Enzo and the Revell S-100. I dont build a lot of cars, but that is one sweet kit and for $25 I couldnt pass it up. The S100 was a nice grab as well and only $10. Just what I need, more kits for the shelves. "Q"

Made one trip on Monday and got the Bulldog...SWMBO is letting me go again tomorrow and pick up a few more kits...she actually asked if she could spend some money on Creative Memories stuff, so I said, "sure, if I can go to HL and buy a few kits before the sale is over"....worked like a charm...and since she is spending a lot more than I am, I have it made! :-) I can't wait!!!

That was my mistake sorry. The whole day I have been thinking it was Saturday instead of Friday so I got mixed up. My fault.

Yesterday I went in and got a couple more vehicles. Picked up the M41 and M26, only was charged $16 for both so I was happy. Neither of them had stickers on them, the guy just "guesstimated" their original worth and I'm sure they were worth more than that. lol

Yeah we have a bad habit of "guesstimating" things at my store.

My second trip this week resulted in my picking up the last of the armor kits I didn't already have, the M4 Sherman (early production). Since I wasn't at the limit SWMBO gave me, I decided to pick up a few aircraft kits also...F4F-4 Wildcat, Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero(Zeke) and the F4U-1A Corsair....I left happy...

Damn Moe...you really made out. I figure half price should have been $25-27. The Bulldog is 11 and the Pershing near 40

Sweet! Didn't know it was that good a deal. I was checking out the armor forum last night and noticed mention of the WW2 Productions tracks, I'll have to look into getting a set for this model. It's a nice kit, I checked it out last night but the tracks are pretty weak. I'll save this one for later after much practice and when I can take the time to do it right.

FiveOduece, our sales on models usually happen every 3 to 4 months, but that does not include the internet 50% coupon. Those come out whenever the corporates want to get rid of stock so I have no clue how often they occur.
