I would definately be looking for a "Hobby-Lobby" Buddy for these 50% off sales I hear so much about.

I live in New Jersey, and we have no Hobby Lobbies here.

Would prefer someone with a pay-pal account, since I could pay right away, and also not over extend my spending.

Hope some member is willing to become the "grumpyoldman's hobby-lobby buddy"............

PM me if you are.

Wait! Wait! Logansdad, yes that 1:25 "Hogan's Heroes" is the real thing! Well, no, not really. It's a normal AMT vehicle. Good for starting out, but nothing else. Though, I bought it anyway, because I love the way. Thanks for your time.

It's on for tomorrow (Monday). Anybody want me to do anything? Selection in military armor is limited.

P.s. I'll be there at 9AM when they open.

I have a hobby looby near me. They seem to have the usual run of stuff. Saw an Ardennes KT, Shermans, Walker Bulldog ..the usual assortment of tanks and planes including that super 32nd scale HOrnet Did see a 350 scale AHM version of the Bismarck. If anyone runs into that AHM version of the 350 scale Enterprise with the "Pineapple" island let me know.

real quick blaster....that Super Hornet kit is WELL worth picking up!!! That's a $100. kit you can get for $50. sheckles. My local (close-in) HL took it off the shelf the night before the sale (I know, because I checked at closing the night before and it was there....first thing in the morning.....NO Hornet!)

Anyway, you should spread the word about picking that one up with the wingy thingy guys. I would think some of them would appreciate the 'reach'.

Oops....almost forgot.

to Grumpyoldman: I'll be your "Hobby Lobby 'Buddy' ". Since Viper's covered, (although I'm still considering picking up another NX-01) I'll pick up what ever you need pard'!

Just tell me what you're looking for..........

Tread.

BTW, the reason you're getting a bit of preferential attention from me is because I've fended off (many a time) the title you so warmly embrace for your moniker.

Hey, Tread, I've been spreading the word in several forums, but not many bites as yet. I'll pick up the NX-01 for Viper, and I PM'ed Grumpy that I'd be happy to get him something- but if your prices are better or whatever I wont be TOO badly hurt
:-) :-) Oh,yeah, in my local HL they were just putting the Hornet ON the shelf on Friday. Maybe some wingnut will get lucky... Cheers!

No problem at all, Tread (unless you count the very sound drubbing recived at the hands of SWMBO-but that's definitely mea culpa). Just glad to offer some (slight)assistance to the fine members of the finest site on the net! . looks like the word got out- lot's o' happy campers reporting in! Thanks to you for getting it underway

*Cough, cough*

Just remember that there is a Hobby Lobby employee 'round here so if you want the whole list of items, just ask.

Besides, I can prolly help out more than others can since I get 15% off more than you guys.

{sound of brakes squeeling}
Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech!!!

Now wait a minute Whiskey. We already have 50% off, then we can add your additional 15% off, and if we couple that with Cuhail's 'free' shipping.....hmmmmmmmmm.
Ya know, we keep this up, and eventually we'll come up with a way to arrange it so that Hobby Lobby has to pay us to take the models out of the store!!!!

Tread.

BTW, in the initial post of this thread, I refer to a previous thread in which I give full credit to one of our good members named 'Whiskey' who helps us all out regarding the Hobby Lobby sales....when this most recent sale came up, I thought of you. ;-)
