I have a 1/72 OV-10 Bronco. The wiper for the windscreen is molded on the clear part. Is there safe way to remove this?
Thanks!

I'd say to "shave" it off, Then you'll need to polish the wind screen with progressively finer grits to aroung 12000 then dip in Future........ Just my Guess

matt's got it -shave it off with a brand new #11 blade and then polish. You could use silver polish as an alternate to the really fine sandpaper.

Very carefully? No seriously, what Matt and Scott said pretty much does it.

Figured that much. Had to make sure before I began cutting plastic (or flesh, whichever meets the bleeding edge first hehe ). Can I also use white Colgate or metal polish?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Use Colgate as the finishing touch. But be sure to use the white one and not the gel type :-). Dunno about metal polish but I'll try to avoid using that.

I suppose there is no way of showing these wipers to see what we're up against. It sure would help on giving ideas.
