Well, almost done. I have some detailing to do, and a bit of touching up, but the painting is about complete. I would like to know what you think. This baby was built from scratch, 1/35 scale, using plastic card, wire, straight pins, balsa wood. More photos and probably an article when I am done!

Incredible Boosahmer! It's looking absolutely terrific!
You really have something to be proud of there. So, have you figured out how many hours you have invested in this awesome piece?
Thanks for showing it to us, and please post more as you finish it up.

Thank you very much. John17, I haven't really kept track of the time spent, but I would guess 30-50 hours.

Respect man!
That looks so cool. Surely with all these rail guns and interest, somebody must get this out soon in kit form? I want one! have you any photos of the wheels? What did you use for these or did you scratch them as well! Outstanding work boosahmer!

Great looking locomotive!
Like PB, I'm curious about the running gear. Did you borrow some parts from the model train section of the hobby shop?

Thanks for the kind words...I scratched the wheels also. I tried to get some running gear from an old locomotive, but it's like anything else- when you are NOT looking for something, you see it everywhere! I couldn't find any. So I used plastic card and balsa wood. When I do the article, I will take a few photos of them. They are pretty simple, since you can hardly see them.
