Decal Storage
Greetings Everyone,
Ok, tell me, how do you store decals? I have been keeping mine in a model box since the 70's.
Some are as good as the day I unwrapped the box, some are trashed--yellowed, brittle.
Most of what I've read is to keep them out of the light and in a sealed food bag. One decal manufacturer says to keep them open in their paper sleeve.
All the best to you,
Fred

I keep mine in plastic sandwich bags, which I keep in a sealed Tupper-ware container. I keep this container in my bedroom closet. I have decals that are over fifteen years old that I have used and had no problems.

It was discussed earlier this month: Decal Storage. Had the originator chose a better topic title, the subject may have come up in a cursory search of the forums.
