Hi folks, New to the site, old to modeling, but took a break for a couple of years in pursuit of other hobbies. Back now, I do all genres of modelling but am getting into armor now more than anything else. I've post some pics in my gallery of some work on aircraft and armor, as well as some camouflage references for modern Russian figure painters.

I'm from Houston, TX and have been involved with local modeling clubs here for 10 years, I'm sure I will know a lot of you from the old days of rec.models.scale, I already saw a couple I remember from the dark ages.

Depends on what you consider "cool"

What I wish though was that there were 1/4 scale models of famous firearms, that would be cool. Some of the stuff I'd like I simply will never be able to afford, a model would at least hold me over.

animal, yes, I have posted some of these images before over at militaryimages.com and the AK-47 section of gunsnet.net where I'm an admin, if you happened to run into either of those sites you may have seen them. The aircraft models are a little bit older anyway, so those may have been around, though in different photos.

Yes, I went to the armor club at Daves for four or five meetings last year before I had to take a hiatus from modeling, I'll be back at the next meeting. Baker and I are pretty good friends, he's been on me to show up.

I was in IPMS Houston since 1992, and did the SNAFU editing for 6 years. I even ran the IPMS Houston Scale Model Forum website back in the day. I haven't been going there lately either, but will be getting back into it. I miss all the guys.
