Best Buy put out an Internet pre order special about a month ago on these. At that time the option was for free home delivery on the 25th, or "will call" at the nearest store, (if you so desired). Price (as I recall), was $19.99 with a small discount to boot.

ROK, the final chapter in a trilogy that will live on for many many years. An epic film!

Roger Ebert said that people who had to have the 4 disc edition needed to 'get a life!'

Actually, I'm going to wait for the 4 disc set because I want all the additional footage.

Have to agree with him a little as I have never watched all or the bonus features on my extended DVD's of Fellowship and Two Towers. I wish they would offer the extended versions without the 2 'making of' discs.

Still, it's a long wait for the extended version. But, worth it.

I got my $15.99 copy at Circuit city. Had bougt the other two for total of $20 on ebay (everybody wanted those 4 disc upgrades) so I got all three for a smidge over 30 bucks.
