Do you know anyway I could buy the complete collection of BOB, sequel of Save Private Ryan?? Maybe in VHS or even DVD?

Unfortunetly the movie will not be released until September/October... VHS and DVD.
When it finally is released we'll let everyone know. :-)

It'll be on France2 every monday night around 20h30 - 20h45... two episodes a night... starting next monday !
If you don't have France2, check if you don't have TV5. That's a channel that picks it's programs among the several french channels, so it'll certainly have BoB... but perhaps on a different day and a different time... and for this I can't help you !
We've been seeing teasers for a full month now and I can't wait for the real show to start !!!

Yeah, Band of Brothers was an HBO series (premuim cable tv) and they take forever to release their stuff. I have been waiting for a while to get it myself, but have been disappointed by how long HBO takes to release their stuff Hope the September/October time frame is correct.

As for BoB being a prequel to Saving Private Ryan...don't know if that is right or not? Anybody know anything about that?

Definitely not a prequel, made by the same folks as the SPR producers. SPR was fictional, BoB is a fact-based account of an airborne company in a Parachute Infantry Regiment

I think Rob was saying that SPR was a story with fictional characters that took place within a real event ( Operation overlord).
In Band of Brothers, the characters were real people and the story revolved around their combat experiences in the ETO.

Penpen... I've found only TV5 over 1000 channels of my satellite link. unfortunately there is no sign of France 2 eve if Italian newspapers show their programming section... Now that I've only TV5 I searched Internet for programming reference, I found this site: www.tv5.org is this right? I can't found any reference-guide for programming.

Can you help me? I can't speak france and so I'm a bit confused.

I checked the url you gave me and it's the right one.
I got the program till next thursday and... nothing.
Maybe that BoB won't be aired on TV5 finaly... or maybe is it going
to start later... there's no way for me to know so far.
I'll check again within a few days and I'll keep you posted !
