Ok, Its been a few years since I built armor, so here goes... What brand/color is the best for an M4A1 Sherman, both enamel and acrylic. Also any suggestions on the basic oil colors for painting faces? Thanks fellas, I'm tryin to get back in the swing of things!

Hello Chief, welcome aboard! We covered a bit on the OD thing here a little while ago. (click below) As far as which is "best"...all a matter of opinion to me. I use Model Master Acrylics. I don't use enamals much anymore. Wait to see more replies to this too. Oils for faces or any flesh in general is actually a mix of a couple of colors. These are the basics used. Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Flake White, Cadmium Red, and Cadmium Yellow.

Hope this helps a bit.
