Well, we are in the last half of 2019 and whilst some of us have several planned builds to start/finish, it is time start thinking about Group builds for next year. One thought I have had is a Bundeswehr GB.
12/11/2020 marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Bundeswehr, so I have been think of a GB to start 01/05/2020 to run to 12/11/2020. Because the Bundeswehr covers all arms of the German military armed forces, I think a build that is open to all genres Ships, aircraft, military vehicles, figures, etc would be appropriate.
Any scale, any vehicle actually used by the Bundeswehr or any figure of Bundeswehr personnel, in Bundeswehr livery, at any time period 1955 to present...
So any takers???

I've got some Leopards, Widow Makers and a Phantom or two in the stash so I'm covered plastic wise. Maybe a dual build, Land & Air?

No need to ask me, Peter! I would go for something "Heer" (Army). So let me see, what can I build? I have a few Leopards in stash, Dingo, Mars, PzH 2000, M 48, M 109, M 110, SPz Marder, SPz Puma, MAN 5 to gl, Kanonenjagdpanzer (no, that one is on the production plan for 2019), Unimog, Wiesel, GTK Boxer (San) etc ..... The list is long and who knows what old Santa will bring ....
So, yes, I'm in for sure as an old Leopard and MAN guy of the 1980's.
Torsten
Btw.: For a ribbon I would suggest the Iron Cross on a german flag.

Thanks Torsten.
I am sorry you have such a quandary - too many kits to choose from.
May I suggest "eeny, meeny, miny moe"! Works for some
You pretty much picked what I was thinking for the ribbon. I already have a banner made up with the Iron Cross (and for the 20/20 in 2020 build I also proposed- see my sig
Okay I will lodge a request with Admin then a few months until we

Okay proposal sent for a 1 May Start and 12 Nov finish. Given the significance of the end date, I hope everyone will be finished by then.
The campaign proposal form states it can be up to 2 weeks for Admin to respond, so a little patience will be required to see if it is approved.
As to the award, and as suggested by Torsten, how about:
or
This is the best I can get the 'Iron Cross', it loses the thin border around the cross edges when it has to be so small.
Bis zum nächsten Mal, Torsten. (I hope I got that right - 'Until next time - my High School German was a lonnng time ago. It got me through a holiday... with some funny smiles on occasion..., but maybe that was the Aussie accent)

Looks good, Pete! I can't see the writing on the second example... So maybe I choose the first.

That's correct, Peter! Good on ya! I've got a bit of Aussie accent in my english since my 6 month trip through Oz after leaving the Bundeswehr in 1989. So I noticed the fall of the Berlin Wall in a Melbourne backpackers, not knowing what was going on there .... After 30 years my english is now a mix of british, american and australian style
I would prefer ribbon No. 1, that 65 yrs in No. 2 is a bit too small to read.
