Hi! I wanted to share a couple of pics of my Omaha dio. I tried out a Robert Capa documentary style manipulation that included adding certain kind of film grain, blurring and violent contrast. Here´s the link: D-Day pics

I liked the dio allready, but now with the right pics it really comes alive !

Thanks for your kind words!
It´s another hobby for me, playing around with Photoshop. Though I know it has many useful features I like to keep it simple. What interests me a lot is the illustrative possibilities of modeling. I can imagine a book that´s illustrated with real-looking photos of models and dioramas...let alone the possibilities if the modeling itself would be stylized in a certain way to add the illustrative effect.
I´m playing with this idea, it may become a graduation work for me.
What I needed the most would be a customer for a case like this...

What did I find among the IPMS pics...a very famliar lookind dio by Ed Kennedy!
