Welcome to Armorama Luis. Good to see another modeler from Fla. I live in Ormond Beach, where are you from? Enjoy. There are a few of our members from the sunny state of Fla. As far as a starter kit in armor I would suggest the M-41 by Tamiya. It is a simple OOB build and in not expensive.

Howdy Luis,
Welcome aboard Armorama! Glad to have you with us, and glad to see you back in the hobby again. About a starting again model kit, I dont know what your preferance is, but may I suggest a Academy 1/35 M3A1 Stuart tank, or one of the Tamiya M4A3 Sherman tanks as a starting point! I look forward to chating with you on the forums.
Cheers,
Garry

Hello and welcome! Glad to see you come back to the hobby. Just about any armor kit by Tamiya would be a good starter kit, but some of them are pretty expensive. Still, any of their slightly older and lower priced kits would be a good reintroduction to building. If you have any problems or questions, feel free to ask here. Everyone is ready, willing, and able to help in any way possible.

Thanks to all for the very prompt and warm welcome...Animal, I live in Miami. I would not mind at all moving a little more north, but we will make do with MIA as long as my blood pressure can deal with all of folks here.
Thanks again for the feedback on those kits guys.
PS. anyone know how to get rid of that "Visitors Pass" icon over my name???? Don't get it,...I am already registered. Does it just remain for a while as a newbie or something???
