Ola People

I have a question about a font I`m looking for. And I hope that there is somebody who knows it and is able to help me out. First here is the pic:

The Number on the back of the vehicle wich is not completely visible is what I want to recreate but.. I do not have the font. Does anybody know wich font they Used for those stencils at that time. Does anybody know of a brand that makes these stencils (Blue stenciling===>>> Airborne Jeep)
Prefferably I want to know the font so I can make my own stencil and spray it eventually.

Looking forward to all feedback

Hi FAUST,
found a font that might do the job....I've included two versions, each slightly different weight.
Obviously the fig 1 is not correct, but that's the easiest to cobble.
Let me know if its ok .

Cheers
Peter

Hi again,
found a few more fonts...none are exactly the same as the one used on the jeep.
The ones I have found seem superficially similar but not exact.
After trying to scroot the original pic, the first font posted looks closest but the base line is hoizontal not curved as on original.
It may need a bit of re-tracing and tweaking using the original pic as a template and using elements from the standard fonts displayed.

Of course if you've found an exact match...no need to go further.
However...

Let us know....

Good hunting
Cheers

Any time Rob.
Being in a graphic arts studio, finding fonts is not too much of a problem...finding the right one is at least interesting.

Glad you got fixed up.

Cheers
Peter
