Well actually, you oughta have fun when using the EOS 300. But it's a very very very reliable camera when it comes down to serious photography. Read: photojournalism.

I know what you're referring to, and I'm sure we're referring to different things.

I get you pare

Lesson # 2: Money can't buy you happiness. Neither can it buy you expertise. #:-)

Casing? Haha! meron na yan, wala lang talaga siyang Compact Flash II memory card na kasama.

IMO, camera's get discontinued for a reason, and support isn't that good for these types of things.

This looks über cool. This is stiff competition for Canon's D10 and 300D.

While, I've gotta have one of these someday....

Kung discontinued sya, does that mean no service parts available for that model?

Ahhh...Infomax sells it with an included case kasi, might be a promo of sorts.

Not really, they have to support the product itself, unless its' really obsolete na. The thing is, most old/discontinued gadgets need for their parts to be custom-ordered.

These are what you need if you're crazy enough to buy the 300D JUST for shooting models, hehe!

This is the box's contents.

Anybody got a photography book? I need some tips regarding shooting from a distance, shooting very tiny details etc.

jomz, hanggang panaginip ko na lang yang 300D na yan. Hehehe. too much for me. Siguro bibili nyan ako kapag nag-aral na ko ng photography. As of now, mga 5 MP or less ok na. :-)

Thanks LaTtEX!!! I wanna thank everyone for their help in photographing.

I may still have to get myself a Canon 250D lens to get the best effect. Right now, I'm experimenting on different close up settings of my cam.

BTW, I'm also having problems with white balancing on my cam. I'll post pics next time. (Nadelete ko na kasi eh )

Try mong i-Bracket ang shots mo. Since you are using a digicam it's not very possible and economical. I think to bracket your shots the camera has to be in the Manual Setting. Ang white balance sa auto mode isn't always that accurate. While you are bracketing your shots i-lista mo ang exposure setting (+/-) mo so you could tell the difference and for future reference, lalo na if you are using the same constant light source.
