I got to looking at the solid tail pipe that came with the model, and I figured there has to be something that looks better then this, so I went to the garage looking, at first I was thinking in the lines of that real thin hard plastic airline, but ended up with a piece of wire and the coating the same ouside dimensions as the tail pipe, so I stripped the coating off, and bent it the same curve as the pipe, then crazy glued it to make it hold the curve, then glued it on the muffler, and it sure does look better then what I had, it now has a hole in it, maybe not as good looking as PE, but within my buget, and way easier then drilling. Hope this helps someone.

Hi straightedge,
good tip..
I sometimes use the sheathing from cable for, amongst other things, detail on aircraft undercarriage legs.
The beauty is it comes in many sizes and it's CHEAP.

Thanks
Peter
