This is what I have: I photo copied photos and a map or two out of an Chief, Military History book on small unit actiosn in World War II, one mission being the Rangers at Normandy.

1. Aerial photos over Pont de Huc, showing bomb craters, etc., good for "atmosphere" of teh battlefield

2. Low oblique aerial photo from over teh ocean looking at PdH, again for general overview, also good for "scale"

3. Several photos of teh battlefield from ground level, the Ranger CP on the edge of the clift, marching off prisoners, view of destroyed German OP, view sof damage caused by bombs & naval gunfire.

4. View up ladder, toggle ropes that Rangers finally use to reach top of cliff

5. Map of point.

The photos were dark to start (remember, early in morning on dask overcast day), and copying couldn't improve. I do not believe they will survive scanning and e-mailing, so I can mail if you will PM me an address.

Jeff
