i want to know where i can get styrene plastic just like what the kits are made from.
i dont like the ever green stuff its a pain to work with.
my hobby shop dont have the styrene plastic thanks guys

I use ebay....search for the word ...styrene.

I have found alot of it there, some evergreen and other from sign companies...at the hardware store look for "for sale" signs "no tresspassing" signs and like that...it's all styrene.

Plastruct makes other types of Plastic sheets as well.. ABS for sure

Wanna go cheaper? your local gas station signage gets updated about every three months. I would make friends with the attendant you see all the time and have him put aside all the pump topper signs when they get new ones. It's all styrene and very easy to work with. I know that the large signs just below the canopy at BP/Amoco is 3'x5' and my station has 8 of them. Take a few minutes and talk to them.

If you go the Evergreen route, the flat strips and sheet are excellent and pretty spot on but, the round stock is way out of round at the smaller diameters. Plastruct is the way to go there. Very round and usually within +/-.001" of stated diameter.
