I guess that I am pretty lucky. I get on average about 20 hours a week to do my modelling.

I would be happy with 10. Couple hours during the week after work and the rest on the weekends. Not to include my 'reference time'... that's usually time well spent on the toiley....

My job often doesn't permit a lot of spare time, and most of that goes to my kids. Overall, I probably get about four-five hours a week. Most of that I can squeeze in on Saturdays.

3-4 hrs./wk if I'm very lucky mostly I average 2-3 hrs./wk.
A massive kitchen remodel has really sucked up alot of my time, not to mention that pesky 72hr work week
I'm on vacation for the month and I WILL model some this month if I have to stay up after the little woman goes to bed!

Right now I have a crazy school schedule. I can model about an hour an evening if that...on Wed. I could have 6-8 hours and then time on the weekend. So I'd say I spend around 8-10 hours a week between working and school. Can't wait for summer so I have just work and model

Around an hour per weekday and 3 - 5 hours on weekends. Time spent depends on mood and household "obligations". I usually paint on weekends because cleaning up the mess I always make takes some time

max.1,5 or 2 hours per day during week (sure some days I can not model due to being deadly tired, busy with work or family)
4-5 hours per day during weekend.
I can say my modelling time during a week is between 8 hours to 20 hours.

Having work and family also like brother Engin id go for 10-20 hours a week usually . Though there can be weeks that i model only 3-4 hours and some others i go over 25 but the average is 10-20 . I wish it was more but family bonds are stronger !!

Usually 5 -8 per week.
My workbench in the basement is divided into two sections. One half is for working on models, the other half is for all the woodworking I do to try and restore the century home my wife inherited from her folks when they passed on.
If I could ever just get ahead on the house problems, the time spent on models would probably triple!

Well, let's see. I have 3 days off a week (Sun, Mon, Tues) and I spend about 5-10 hrs per day; including time on the internet getting ideas, researching...about an hour in the mornings when I get off from work...carry the 2...divided by....mmmmmm........
.....right now my wife is yelling down at me, "Chris, you dumb Jarhead, I know you hear me..take out the trash!" ....... I yell back at her "SHUT UP, Devil woman! You made me super glue my fingers together"
.....I spend a lot of time, I guess just about every waking moment on my days off. I don't get too much sleep on those days.

Between work, a three year old at home and having to set up and tear down my modeling materials each time I do modeling, I am lucky if I get in 10 hours a week. I compensate for the lack of time to actually model through this site and reading reference materials.

I could manage up to about 15 hrs + a week but outher things like the TA and scootering slow me down then theres the internet and this site and at the mo having work done on the house including my dedicated modelling room :-) :-) :-) :-) so I'd do a bout 5 or 6 this week if I can I think for most people it varies some weeks I do loads then others nil

I find this to be an on and off topic for me. Sometimes, I'll build model after model and spend up to 30-40 hours a week for weeks on end, and sometimes I'll go a month or two without working on anything at all.

Funny I should come upon this question. Over the last two months or so I've gotten 0 hours of modeling in. Not until yesterday did I get some time in and it was only about an hour on my mustang.

An occasional hour in the evening and a few hours at weekends, especially if 'er indoors is working.
I have the misfortune of having a girlfriend that hates the smell of liquid poly and paints
So I have to keep my modelling at my place, luckily I have the computer and plenty of books over at her house, so I research there and model back at mine
It works for us but it can get frustrating at times, especially when I'm in a constructive mood.
Happy modelling

Since I have school to worry about, and have to do homework and study when I get home insted of relax, and play the computer, and paint figures...I dont get in nearly as much modeling time as you guys. I average somewhere around a mere 15 min. to half an hour on schooldays, though I do get alot more on weekends. I wish I could spend that 4 or 5 hours a night of homework on models instead... But thats only a dream.

I got massive amounts of building done in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters when the wife was going to bed at 7:30 pm.. 3-4 hours a night for months. I got spoiled..
Then after my son was born, and for the last 4 years, it has been a couple of hours a week on Sunday afternoons.
Now that we have a house and I can get an hour a day and up to 2 per weekend day, but someone has been sick (me , wife, or son) pretty much all winter.
But., since I am a teacher, so all those 'free summer vacations' make for good modeling time

Well I've got 2 hobbies- modelling and computing...
So every week I spend half time modelling (about 5-6 hours), and the other half computing... Only on weekend I spend all my spare time modelling ,since I don't have a PC near me... when i'm not givin' attention to my girlfriend (she deserves it)!! or makin' some sport (our body NEEDS exercise!)
See yaaa

I would say about 1/2 to one hour a day, maybe more on weekends if it'snot too busy. Sure wish it could be more!
