-Before, I only prefer aircrafts, but now I build land weapons, figures then next ships!

-I hate the interior of the model, but now I get reference materials and detail the interior to the max!

-I don't like figures, but now I always seek for them whenever I buy a new kit.

-After the sad experience with my SCUD, I swore never to build another one, but now why do I have tons of unbuilt land combats? 2 M2A2 ODS, 3 M1A1HA etc...

Time passes so quickly and now I've been doing all sort of kits. Changes does happen. Being a 17 year old guy and 2 years of modeling, I sure am exploring modeling to the max!

It's only been a year since I joined this club. I can safely say that I've improve my skills from the regular snap on kits, now I paint, weather and dio them!

Hey Shonen,

You're 17? don't worry, you have time. Don't let "Disasters" get you down, you will only get better. As for cross-overs, they can be refreshing for you as you don't do 'only' one thing.

If I ever loss my skills in modeling, blame my studies #:-) #:-) They're keeping me away from models. Oh well, a careful balance between study and modelis will create a nice atmosphere.

Shonen, Im a year ahead of you and lemme tell ya, the balance between models and study gets real slim about now. Between work, school, girls, family, etc. you will barely have enough time to squeeze in a paintbrush let alone a whole model. But keep improving your skills amigo, cause if you stop for a while, what you already know wil come in handy.

that's right!! keep on modelling but don't forget to study! Look at me: I work, got a girlfriend that's always calling me, got a home to take care(I live with her...) and still I find one or two hours per day to model (except when I'm in front of the pc, like now!!!!)... and I sleep 7 hours per day....! Fin the right balance and everything will go well

See yaaa

You have a lot of time ahead of you Shonen but don't forget that your studies are important. Like what they say "stay in school". Modeling is good but school is more important. Good to know that you're progressing in modeling, I wish I could.

Thanks guys! Maybe this year, I'll try scratchbuilding and AM parts. I bought Verlinden super detail set for my Hasegawa F-16C and another Verlinden super detail set for my Hasegawa F-14D. As of now I find it kinda diffucult to do. Maybe I just need some more practice and skill to do it.

After I finish my 4 year course in college, I assume adding electronics to kits

Kumusta Shonen,
I've seen your gallery and for young lad of 17 you are well on the way to becoming a modelmaster. A Gandalf of modelling.
Excellent range and all well done.
Cheers
Peter
