Greetings all!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Darryl Tuominen and I build 1/35 scale armour of various eras. As you may of guessed by my nic name I am a police officer and have served twenty years with our Provincial Police Force. I consider myself an average modeller and build mainly OOB. I have posted some pics of my models in the gallery but need to work at my photography skills I served 3 yrs (79-82) as a sapper in the 1 Combat Engineer Reginment in the Canadian Armed Forces, then college and from there into the Ontario Provincial Police Force. After three yrs in the OPP I married the best woman in the world and it was she who got me back into modelling as a way to relax from the stress of policing. Now 20 yrs later she is still my biggest supporter. So aside from my modelling sickness, we show and breed Golden Retrievers x 12 ( blackpoolkennels.com), two cats and two horses. So time to actually model is limited at time
I have always been impressed by this site. It seems more relaxed, friendly and from what I have seen / read everyone is very supportive.

Darryl

Hi Copper,

A very warm welcome to you from the Philippines! Saw your models and congratulations on you nice builds. The weathering is good. I wish my workshop was as neat as yours!

Nice collections of unbuilt kits. I'm hoping to lessen the numbers of my own unbuilt collecion. Alas, i just bought ten more last weekend.

Hope to see more of your stuff in the future!

Wanze

Welcome, glad to have you in the ranks with us. This is the best site out there. I really enjoy it. The wealth of knowledge here is great. I am more of a collector than a builder myself. With all that goes on in my life I don't seem to ever have the time to build anything. Welcome and enjoy.
