Why is it after I take all the care prior to painting a model by removeing all dust, I always get one teensy tiny spec of dust on it??? :-

I have often thought about the problem of dust and such. I remember touring a car manufacturer as a kid, GM I think, and what I thought was interesting was they polarized the paint by sending it through a magnetic field - the paint became positive and the chassis was grounded so the paint did not overspray. The thing that has stuck in my mind is the fact that they said that dust and stuff was repelled by this method. I really don't know what that would entail, but polystyrene has electric characteristics. Something to play around with...maybe!
