I'm assuming it will be sometime in late 2015, they're trying to space out the campaigns a little better.

I've already picked a kit I want to work on, a bagged kit of the F2A Brewster Buffalo. Ought to have some interesting challenges.

Ha ha, well there's not much excuse for us individualy not being ready then eh?

I've been getting references together for my build, with Airfix figures you can't do the same one out of the box time after time, so I'm going to convert three figure, using Arfix parts, into a scene of the Quebec Voltigeurs of 1812.
For those who remember the Airfix magazine, this is the sort of thing they put in their pages

All ready to go, just press the start button please.

Here we go again!

At the time of writing this I'm thinking maybe I would build either the heinkel 177 kit I seem to have had forever or a more recent acquisition, the F- 111

Do you have to have old kit in order to enter into this campaign or is modern time releases, say during last 20 years, allowed?

Some where up thread, Richard stated:

Airfix III with no kit age restrictions would be a natural evolution of the campaign idea!
If there were no major objection I would go for it as this would bring more model builders into the campaign.

So I think the short answer is no age restrictions

Hi girls and guys,

I'm in too. I hope it's in the second half of 2015, because for the first half i've got 5 or 6 others . Well, I grew up with Airfix, so this is something I have to do... perhaps with an old kit???

See ya, HP

Far enough away for me to be interested... Only I still haven't finished my Porsche from the last Airfix campaign (hangs head in shame). Will there be a rule saying they have to be completely new builds, or will there be scope for some finishing off stalled builds?

Matthew how about a stalled build allowed as long as you enter a new build as well?

Hmm, that's not so much of a concession - that means one and a half builds when I didn't even finish one last time round!!
I'm sure I can manage to dig something out and at least it will motivate me to finish the 917.

Okay Airfix three??? HELL YES!!!! Hmmmm new moulds allowed huh? I have several of the newer Airfix 1/72nd scale kits that fit the bill easily. Although I'm at a loss ..... ohhhhh wait a minute I have Airfix's 1/24th scale Ju87B ..... with paint masks .... uhmmmm will I be able to use the paint masks??? They're Montex but the kits Decals are fine.... uh well at least they look fine.

Hey Richard here's a question Airfix boxed some other manufacturers moulds (Arii's 1/48 mustang IV comes to mind) while ostensibly Airfix they're not original Airfix moulds will these be excluded?

Hi Chris.
If it say Airfix on the box then you can build it!
There are plenty of original Airfix kits out there to choose from which I would prefer to see built.
