*Sir Byron, if you recall me saying something about a WRC Subaru Rally-car kit I was telling you about which was really nice -- the kit you have which is IIRC the 2002 WRC Impreza, IS the kit I was talking about. Would you mind selling off some of your "excess" kits! haha!

Hi Jomz,

For some reason I only saw this thread today. Don't know what happened.

The Tamiya kit is I have is #24250, Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 Rally of Great Britain. I'm not sure if its the same as the 2002 Subaru WRC you refer to. I also have the 98 Monte Carlo & Safari versions. I still plan to build all my kits & with a little bit of luck I just might have the chance to do that sometime in the year.

Tell you what though, if for some reason I'm forced to sell my unbuilt kits (perish the thought), I'll let you know.

On a related matter, would you consider building kits for others? I'm reaching that age where I just want to see my kits built & I'm starting to make a list of modelers I can commission to build some of my collection. Just a thought...

NO!! I'd rather help you out on building them, than depriving you of the fun in building the kits, althought I would love to do the car for you, I'd decline from the commission. Si cris I'm sure would love to help out. He does really nice rally cars.

Don't worry Sir Byron, pag nagattend ako nang meeting, plus lets hope cris does, too -- I'm sure we'll have a pretty long session on your rally cars. I have a pretty nifty idea on how to make your Impreza exhaust look meaner, and ultra detailed -- courtesy of a friend of mine who owns a WRX one.

Oh, and yeah, that kit you have is the one I was referring to. Nice kit!!!

Apart from the kits I'll be building for the upcoming competition, these are what I've got lined up in my workbench:

1/350 USS Bunker Hill (which I was commissioned to build for someone)
1/48 F-15A Eagle (that I won in the raffle)
1/72 F-15 Strike Eagle
1/72 F-14 Tomcat
1/72 A-4 Skyhawk (for that exhibit up in Clark)
1/72 F-4 Phantom C/D (help! it seems there's a sprue set missing. I may have gotten the wrong set of fins).
1/72 F-86 Sabre
1/35 M163A1 SPAAG (for Clark)
1/350 Musashi
1/700 USS Saipan
