Just borrowed a 1megapixel camera from a friend... Pictures didn't turn out the greatest. I've read all about this "Macro" Function, and I have no idea what it is, or even if the camera has it?

Explain? Thaks...

Azarius,

A macro function in a camera allows for extreme close-up pictures. Without that if you get too close to your model with your camera the pictures will come out blurry. Most cameras need to have a specific combination of lenses in order to be able to take close-up pictures. What kind of a camera are you using?

If it does have a macro function, more than likely it will be represented by a little icon of a flower.

If it doesn't have that flower icon try to use the zoom function. Drop back from the model and use the varaible telephoto to enlarge your image. You may need to crop it in your photo editing software.
