I must report some sorrowful news. Our Brother in styrene Trevor Snider (Snorri23) has died of a severe brain aneurism, Tuesday June 10 2014.He was 45. Trevor was an extremely enthusiastic modeler and campaign contributor in all things Tuetonic and was a great friend. We travelled to many shows and swap meets in the 25 years we had been friends and members of Basement Model Works.Trevor had the closest thing to a "photographic memory"than I had ever seen.
He will be sadly missed. His unselfish donation of his heart, liver, kidneys and pancreas will keep his legacy alive.

"I drew a picture of a pair of wings
I thought that I could fly
My mother asked me to explain
I said that I would try
I had a dream the other night about flying
And the man who was teaching it was crying
He said a few people were trying
but the art of real flying...was dying..."

Rest your troubled head, put your mind at ease, you will not be forgotten my brother......

My condolences to his family and friends and I hope that some semblance of peace returns to them soon. We seem to have lost a number of members lately as the site gets older we lose some of the people who made and make the site and community what it is.

I didn't know the man, but I certainly read a few of his posts. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. 45 is no age at all. I will certainly be raising a glass in his honour this evening.

While I didn't know Trevor personally I do remember seeing some of his posts. What a sad thing to happen for his family. It must be very traumatic to lose someone like that with little or no warning. My condolences to them for their loss and for this community as well.

Very sad news indeed, too young. My thoughts are with Trevor's family and friends, he was a great contributor here and will surely be missed.

I also just came to hear of this. So terribly sad; I always get a lump in my throat when I hear of a fellow modeller passing.
Rest easy, in peace, Trevor.
