Hi
I was just wondering if there was a miracle solution that would enable me to remove a decal from a die-cast 1/72 Toyota Land Cruiser without destroying it (=the decal). It nicely represents the front engine grill but it has been laid askew ....
TIA

Hi Frenchy
I think that may be a tough one if the decal is thoroughly dry!
Can you remove the radiator and soak it in warm water? If you carefully try to lift the edge of the decal with a paintbrush, you may be able to loosen it. Work slowly and keep re-soaking.
If you get it off, you can re-apply it with white (PVA) adhesive.
Good luck and hope this helps

In my experience, there's no way to remove a decal for re-use after once it's dried to a part...
